to buy or to rent?
How long do I rent for?
Once you’ve paid to rent a show you need to download it within 14 days or you’ll lose it. When it’s downloaded onto your player you’ve got 48 hours to watch it as many times as you like.
Buying to own
If you know you’ll want to watch a show over and over again, buy it to own. Shows you buy are permanently stored on your player once they’re downloaded.
Pre-ordering
You can pre-order your favourite shows so you’ll be first to get them when they hit the small screen.
Format options
Standard
All downloads come in Standard format, giving crisp high quality images that look as good as your normal TV .
High Definition
High Definition offers outstanding image quality, giving you TV that’s clearer and sharper than ever seen before.
Some downloads offer a High Definition option – it costs a bit more, but it’s worth it.
The portable version
Many downloads now come with a free portable version. So you can download it to your MP3 player or other portable device to watch while you’re on the move

Download to own and box sets:
Download to own gives you your own copy of the show in your collection for as long as you want it. If you want to own the whole series of a show, download one of our box sets. Whichever you choose, make sure you back it up as you won’t be able to download it again.
