Down a very ordinary looking Blackpool street packed to the rafters with guesthouses, lies the three star B&B that Julie Sayers and David Webb own. The couple bought the nine bedrooms Sunnyside Hotel three years ago, with no previous experience of the Hotel industry. Three years on and they are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy with a pitiful 20 percent occupancy.

But Julie and David have an audacious plan – flying in the face of a worldwide recession they want to spend £190,000 to completely refurbish the hotel – turning the three stars Sunnyside Hotel into the five star guest accommodation Langtry’s.

Alex has to confront the couple about the Hotel’s failings especially its poor décor and substandard service. The Hotel Inspector’s rescue plan for the couple is quickly rejected and it seems that Julie and David never had any intention of listening to her? Will they ever be able to obtain the five star rating they desperately need to make their business a success?
